The Gideon Group of North Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the unhoused, veterans, and low-income individuals and families. Through evidence-based assessments, personalized accountability tools, and a strong network of community partnerships, we empower individuals to achieve long-term success and sustainable independence.

Thank you, One Community Church!

Your incredible generosity has once again made a lasting impact. This year, your team outdid yourselves—creating over 950 hygiene bags for our unhoused neighbors!

Because of your dedication and compassion, The Gideon Group of North Texas can reach even more individuals and families in need of essential care items.

We can’t wait to share your blessings throughout November and December as we deliver these hygiene packs to our friends across the community.

Together, we’re making dignity and hope accessible—one bag at a time.

Thank you for supporting Gideon on North Texas Giving Day!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave to Gideon during North Texas Giving Day. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $2,115 to support our mission and expand our impact in the community! Your support helps us continue to provide food, a safe shelter, clothes, utility and rentals assistance. Word of the Month:
Keep Going

Great wisdom from missionary Wally Cook!!

If you are battling something right now, one thing I have learned is that often the enemy can't stop what God is doing in you and where He is taking you to. I don't understand all the theology behind that but I suspect he doesn't have the power to stop what God is doing. But he can make us quit, and that seems at times to be the only option he has. So he opposes us with discouragement and negativity, hoping that it reaches a tipping point and we decide we are not enough to do what God is calling us to do or it's not worth it. That decision comes from us, not from God. So don't give up, you are going to get there and the greater the opposition the greater the breakthrough that will come. Trust Him, He can get you where He wants you to go.
